It is a beautiful Wednesday. I have read my devotion book about intercession for others. Sometimes we pray for them as if we want God to do what we desire to happen to them. It is not intercession but we are interfering God's work. Oswald Chamber from this book, My Upmost for the Highest said that identification with God is the key to intercession. We need to be identified with God's interest and concern in lives of other people. How do we do that? How do we know when we pray for someone, we are praying for them according to God's will or my will? I know one thing if this is what desire us to do, he will reveal it to us. Even we might start praying for them out of my own interest and concerns, God will enable to intercede in the lives of others from His perspective. What did I learn today? When I pray for someone, I will ask God to help me how to pray for the person. I will ask God to reveal to me things I can pray for the person. As my heart is aligned with God's heart, God will enable me to see His will and concern for the person. This morning I also thought about what it means to live victorious. Each morning I ask God for the strength for today. I think Satan does whatever it takes to weaken us with his lies and deception about who are in the light of who God is. I believe that Satan will do anything to prevent us from knowing that the battle was won by Jesus crushed the Satan's head. In Jesus Christ, we have the victory. We already won the battle. We have Christ' power and strength to overcome anything if he attacks us again. We are more than 100% guaranteed to win. But the Satan doesn't want us to know that. Believe in the power. The power that resurrected Christ is also given to us. Stand tall and open up your chest!! Lord, ask of your strength today. Satan will do whatever it takes to bend us and weaken our faith by tempting us. Father, let not me fall into his deception. My eyes fix upon you and you alone. You are my source of strength and everything I need to face this world. You are my Rock and Salvation. Apart from you, I am noting. Everything I do, I do in vein. Lord, worship you with all my heart and soul. My all in all!!!!
